Dreams & interpretation of dreams

In the HERA DERMA practice, the so-called three-dimensional integrative method (Freud-Jung-Sondi) of dream interpretation, which is scientifically recognized and is a branch of depth psychology. Dr. Ivan Nastović, doctor of psychological sciences, psychotherapist and clinical psychologist perfected this method here and for many years led trainings and dream interpretation groups.

I live more lives. One in reality, another in imagination, the third in dreams. It is interesting that in my dreams I am always full of self-confidence, resourceful, that I can easily find a way out of any problem, I can sing, and sometimes I fly. In real life, this is not always the case. It is also true that I died a couple of times in my dreams, mourned someone whom, after waking up, fortunately, I realized was still alive, traveled, met the love of my life, fought with werewolves and so on. more. I got to know myself through my dreams, I looked for parallels between my dreams and my thoughts, feelings and events in real life. And, realized a lot.

Every night, without conscious effort, 4 to 5 times during one sleep, our brain and subconscious write the script, direct, set the scene, give the actors the text and send us important messages in the language of symbols and metaphors. Dreaming is accompanied by rapid movements of the eyeballs, the so-called. RAPID EYE MOVEMENT (REM), which occur every 90 minutes during sleep. REM also occurs in hypnosis. Hypnosis is synonymous with REM.

Dreaming is very important, due to the fact that out of 24 hours of our life it takes up at least 2 hours. In dreams, the topic that we are bound by strong emotions in reality is most often discussed. Dream interpretation can be literal and metaphorical. You should start with recent events, meetings, watched shows, something that was *unimportant, in passing, said once, etc. in real life and look for a parallel in the dreamed content. The same with the emotions that accompanied the dream. And many other things that a qualified dream analyst uses in his work with the client.

According to the behavioral definition, DREAMING is a reversible state with disconnected spatiotemporal perception and a reduced response of the organism to environmental influences. It is followed by rapid eye movements under closed eyelids (REM), when waves most similar to beta waves in the waking state dominate.

APPLICATION OF DREAM ANALYSIS IN MEDICINE AND PSYCHOTHERAPY

Dream analysis is very useful in monitoring the effects of therapy in medicine and psychotherapy. Our wise subconscious mind can warn us through dreams about the beginning of an illness, alarm us about something that needs to be solved quickly or support the healing process.

Dreams give an insight into the emotional and mental state, into the client's unconscious contents, indicate bad life habits or the resources the client has to improve his life. The dream analyst helps the client to interpret the dream correctly and to recognize the real information contained in the dream content, which would help the client to improve the quality of the same through purposeful action in everyday life, start implementing their decisions and enhance their own individuation.

The main goal of any therapy, especially the one that includes analysis in its technique of dreams, is to empower the client to make the necessary changes in his life. Through dreams, stuck emotions are processed, emotions that the client could not release in real life, e.g. when out of courtesy or fear he did not verbally express his anger or sense of injustice.

Then the dream takes on the task of freeing the dreamer's brain from excess energy caused by stuck emotions and cleaning and refreshing the brain for receiving and processing new impressions from reality, after waking up, through altered images and events. When that cycle does not take place spontaneously for any reason, hypnosis is the best solution as a form of therapy, where a certified hypnotherapist completes the process through safe and very pleasant hypnotherapy for the client.
